Reservation System for Pool, Exercise room and Hot tub during Covid-19
All other rules about pool safety and social distancing remain in
place.

Emergency Rules – approved June 11, 2020*
- RESERVATIONS ARE No Longer REQUIRED (as of
September 13, 2021)
In order to reopen pools, we must follow the Orange County
Health Department recommendations (see https://www.ochealthinfo.com/eh/water/pool)
ANYONE WHO USES THE POOL AREA DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.
Our swimming pool and hot tub are checked twice weekly by our
regular pool maintenance company and have been maintained while the pool was closed.
We have a cleaning service twice a week, with no special
covid cleaning. All areas have been cleaned twice a week while the pool was
closed and will continue to be cleaned only twice a week.
New rules and sign (from
CDC  ):
Members may sit and swim only with members of their own household and must maintain
a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from others at all times.
DO NOT enter the pool area if
you have any symptoms of illness (cough, fever, sore throat, chills, sneezing,
abdominal pain or diarrhea).
Wash hands frequently and cover your cough.
Only those who live in Bella Palermo may use the pool, hot tub
or exercise room until the covid danger has passed. NO OUTSIDE GUESTS
are
allowed in the pool area at any time until further notice.
Social Distancing
Everyone over the age of 2 years must wear a face covering when entering or
leaving the
common pool area, to and from the gate or when using the
restrooms.
There will be NO parties or gatherings in common areas of the
development, including the pool area and clubhouse until the danger of covid has
passed.
Swimming pool
There will only be 5 reservations allowed at the same time in the
pool for one hour at a time. A reservation may be for a single person or
people who live together (a "household"),
Please sit and/or swim only with your immediate household members and
stay 6 feet away from others at all times.
Please bring your own wipes and hand sanitizer. Clean your
chair before using it (or bring your own chair) and clean your hands frequently.
Exercise room
Only one person (or one household who lives together) is allowed in
the exercise room at the same time.
Everyone using the equipment must wear a face covering while
entering or exiting the room, AND while using the exercise equipment.
Also, when using the restrooms.
Please bring your own wipes to clean the equipment before and
after using it. Please bring your own hand sanitizer and clean your hands
frequently.
Hot tub
Only one person (or one household who lives together) is allowed in
the hot tub at the same time.
Anyone using the hot tub must wear a face covering while
entering or exiting the pool area or when using the
restrooms.

frequently.
We are trying to be fair while asking everyone to do their very
best to stay safe and well during this pandemic.
The board reserves the right to close the pool or any common
facilities if we have any covid cases reported or if members are not observing
safe behavior.
